rule #20 - about ncis

NCIS (Naval Criminal Investigative Service) premiered in 2003 featuring a team of NCIS agents who investigate crimes committed by members of the military, or on a military base or vessel.

The show generally begins with the crime and the team works throughout the episode to identify suspects, how the murder occurred and why, and finally identifying the suspect. During the episodes we are introduced to the colorful and comedic cast of characters and their delightful interractions. I can honestly say I am always entertained by these characters, they make me laugh, care, cry, and feel proud.

The team consists of leader Leroy Jethro Gibbs (portrayed by Mark Harmon), senior field agent aka "very special agent" Anthony DiNozzo (portrayed by Michael Weatherly), junior/probationary field agent Timothy McGee (portrayed by Sean Murray), junior/probationary agent Ziva David (portrayed by Cote de Pablo), deceased agent Caitlin "Kate" Todd (portrayed by Sasha Alexander), and junior/probationary agent Eleanor "Ellie" Bishop (portrayed by Emily Wickersham). The team also includes forensic scientist Abigail "Abby" Sciuto (portrayed by Pauley Perrette), medical examiner Donald "Ducky" Mallard (portrayed by David McCallum), and assistant medical examiner Jimmy Palmer (portrayed by Brian Dietzen).

I cannot express how much I love these characters and this show. The characters antics and intelligence are what makes this show so amazing. The heartache of losing team members and moving on, showing the strength and dedication of those who remain also make this show solid and worthwhile.
